(BERKLEE COLLEGE OF MUSIC)

Sergio Prezioso is an Italian sound engineer and  composer.
Born into a musical family, his musical training began at an early age with piano lessons, continuing through Italian conservatory where he graduated in both Classical Piano and Jazz.
Choosing to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston after winning a scholarship, he spent several years under the direction and teaching of several internationally respected professors. He finished his career there with a degree Summa Cum Laude in Contemporary Writing and Production and the John Dankworth Award for Vocal Writing. During these years Sergio also realised his passion for audio engineering and after a few years writing music for TV commercials in New York, he moved to England where he got his Master of Science in Audio Production.

In addition to his work as a composer, Sergio has been Music Director for several major acts, including the TV show Dancing with the Stars and BBC Frozen Planet.

His soundtrack work is diverse, having written for a variety of multimedia projects, as well as the scores for many advertisement campaigns including: Google; Sony; Johnson & Johnson, Mitsubishi, P&G, and Mercedes.

His music combines elements of post-minimalism and classicism while taking inspiration from the Italian romantic period. As a result, his compositions are interwoven with rich narrative, emotion, and simplicity.

Today he continues to work in both studios and with his cherished mobile rig. He is most well known for his compositional skills, mock-up programming, and mixing abilities.
